Abdel Razzaq Al Dirbas

Occupation:
Poet

Abdul Razaq is a member of the Emirates Writers Union and the International League of Islamic Literature, the Arabic Language Protection Society, Electronic Arab Poetry Diwan, the Free Syrian Writers Union, the Arab Internet Writers Union. Al Dirbas has won several awards.

He was the head of the poetry club in the Emirates Writers Union between 2003 and 2008. His poems were translated into Turkish, English and Persian.

Abdel Wahab Al Sayyid Al Refai

Writer and Novelist

At the forefront of the GCC novelists who are specialized in the scientific fiction, metaphysical science and police fiction, he has more than 20 publications. Most of his works earned the first positions according to the statistics of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in book fairs. Some of his works were converted into films. He managed to have a presence in the international arena by publishing his work “The Museum of Spirits” in English.

Started his journey from the streets of Turkish Cyprus at age 7, Adeel Saeed has been professionally associated with the events industry in UAE for over 10 years, performing live all over Middle East. Adel Khuzam

An Emirati  eminent poet, writer, and journalist. He has several publications: “Under My Tongue”, “The Heir”, in addition to a poetry anthology translated into German. He also has a novel entitled “Life in a Third Eye” translated into English, and has achieved excellent echo in the United States and won the gold stamp  for outstanding literary books and was nominated for the Eric Hoffer Award for books and prose for Independent Publishing in America.

Ahlam Mosteghanemi

A famous Algerian writer and novelist. She worked in the National Radio, which greatly contributed to her literary life as a poet. She moved to France in the 1970s and got married to a Lebanese journalist. In the 1980s, she got her PhD degree from the University of Sorbonne. She currently lives in Beirut. She is the winner of the 1998 Naguib Mahfouz Award for her novel “Memory in the Flesh”.

Ahmad Abdelatif

Novelist, Translator, Journalist and Researcher

He was awarded the master’s degree from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Spanish Autonomous University of Madrid and Translation Diploma from Toledo School of Translators, University of Castilla – La Mancha. He published 5 novels and translated more than 20 books from Spanish and was awarded the State Appreciation Award in Egypt (2011) and Sawiris Cultural Prize (2015) and the Egyptian National Center for Translation Award (2013).

Ahmad Al-Akhras

Poet and Writer

Mr. Al-Akhras participated in a number of the events organized by Emirati and Jordanian associations, in addition to his annual participation in Sharjah International Book Fair since 2010. He was honored with Naji Naaman’s Literary Creativity Prize for his second collection of poems “Al Khazan” in 2017. He is the winner of several poetry competitions in the UAE, Jordan. His poetry works includes: “Trees of Complexions” and “Do Ri Me”, which is currently in press.
