How to apply to the SIBF Publishers Conference
International publishing rights professionals who are interested in attending the SIBF Publishers Conference should apply online. To be eligible, applicants must have a catalogue of translation rights to buy or sell with an interest in doing business in the Arab market.
Step 1

New applicants need to create an account on Click on LOGIN in the top right corner and add your details.

If you have already created an account, then please skip to STEP 3 and login using your account details from last year. 

Step 2
After you have registered you will need to wait until you receive a verification email from SIBF, this may take a couple of days.
Step 3

Once you have received the verification email, you will then be able to login to your account on and apply for the SIBF Publishers Conference via the application form.

In order to be considered for the SIBF Publishers Conference, applicants must complete the application form online – as much information as possible should be given. Users may log out of their application and return to edit it at a later date; all changes will be saved.

Step 4

International applicants must complete and submit their application form online before Sunday 21 June to be eligible for the hospitality package*. 

Step 5

Once SIBF management has reviewed all the applications, applicants will be notified via email whether they have been successful or not.

N.B. Successful applicants will then be able schedule their one-to-one matchmaking appointments online.  Further information about individual schedules will be supplied to participants later. 

* The decision by SIBF shall be binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.
